fibreshed experience box: pembina fibreshed
the first ever fibreshed experience boxes will be going online tomorrow, october 16th, at 6pm winnipeg time, and i want you to get a full look at everything included in the boxes before the listings go live! every box will include the following items:
1 skein of 3 ply worsted from ferme fiola farm
ravelry download code for wild bergamot
wooden ornament handmade by wayne capar of natural knot wood designs
pair of 7” beeswax taper candles by raven creek farms
keychain from long way homestead
nourishing skin salve by sunflower knit made with local beeswax and manitoba sunflower oil infused with foraged plantain, homegrown lavender, homegrown calendula, and homegrown geraniums

for this first box, you have a couple of options to choose from! both the yarn and ornaments have variants that you can choose from, and i’m outlining them here for you so that you are prepared with your favourites of each (and maybe a back-up choice or two) when the boxes go live. you may have already seen the yarn reveal video, but just to recap, your yarn options are between fleece-specific undyed shades or manitoba wool naturally dyed with avocados:
as for the ornaments, you have six options to choose from:

now with all those choices, it can make things a bit complicated to get through check-out quickly and smoothly. so here’s a step-by-step photo tutorial to help you hopefully speed things through without any hiccups:
when you go to the shop page as of 6pm winnipeg time on october 16, you’ll see these two listings:
due to the way the webshop is coded (not by me), it’s not possible to have both the yarn and ornament options in the same listing because it confuses the inventory stock levels. so you’ll need to select your yarn from the first listing, and your ornament from the second listing. any orders placed for ornaments without a yarn box will be cancelled, and any orders for a yarn box without an ornament will be contacted to select an ornament from remaining stock.
once you have both choices selected, head on over to check-out!
payment is via paypal, so if you have an account, be signed in and have your shipping and billing addresses saved if they’re not already so that you can just click through the payment window. if you don’t have an account, you can still pay with any major credit card, so have your card at hand to type your information quickly. if you are purchasing a box for someone else and need to send it to a different shipping address than what you have saved in your account, feel free to just click through with the saved address to save yourself some typing time, and then email me after your order goes through with the correct mailing address.
finally, if you’re ordering from outside of canada and want tracking added to your package, please email me and i’ll calculate the additional rates to send you a separate invoice for them. all packages will be shipping via canada post in november, and canadian parcels all automatically come with a tracking number. winnipeg locals have the option of selecting free pick-up.
